MISCELLANEOUs. তেবেসে মাণিক যদি এন্ধাৰত জলে, তেবেসে তৰু যদি হলিপৰে ফলে, তেবেসে সতী যদি স্বামী সঙ্গে যাই, তেবেসে বিদ্যা যদি ধন মৰ্ম্ম পাই। Tebese manik jadi endharat jale, Tebese taru jadi halipare phale, Tebese sati jadi swami sange jai, Tebese bidya jali dhan dharma pai. That pearl is a real pearl which sparkles by night, That tree is a real tree which tends down with the wright of its fruit, That Sati is a real Sati who accompanies her lord, That larning is real learning which brings riches and | honour. তেবেসে is the archaic form of তেনেহলে or তেন্তে। The reference to the Sat accompanying her lord is significant of the practice of immolating widows that existed throughout India before its abolition by Lord William Bentinck in December 1829 A.D. 358. তেবে যশী যদি যশ বাখানে অনে, তেবেসে গৃহস্থ যদি আটি খাই, ধনে। Tebe jashi jadi jash bakhane ane, Tebese grihastlia jadi ati khai dhane.
